About Me

I am a co-founder and R&D director at DeepMotion. We build full-stack autonomous driving technologies for auto-piloting and L4 self-driving. I obtained my Ph.D. from the joint Ph.D. program between Sun Yat-Sen University and Microsoft Research Asia, co-supervised by Prof. Hongyang Chao and Dr. Yong Rui. My research and engineering interests are in autonomous driving and general robotics, including sensing, HD mapping, localization, SLAM, planning, and control.

Recent Projects

At DeepMotion, I lead the mapping and data platform team, where we have built an HD mapping pipeline from zero to one. I also developed core algorithms for multi-sensor based localization. Here is a list of videos of my recent projects.
